Sky Atlantic

Sky has announced the launch of their new entertainment channel - Sky Atlantic - scheduled for broadcast February 1st. This channel will be available to all Sky customers and will be showcasing US drama and HBO content.

At Virgin Media we understand you will be interested by this channel launch and we want to reassure you of our plans for 2011.

While we do not have any immediate plans to launch Sky Atlantic, we are definitely looking at more channels launches for 2011 and are currently in discussions with various content providers, including Sky.

In addition to our existing range of US drama on our unique on-demand service including House, True Blood, NCIS, Heroes and Glee, we are also launching more on-demand content throughout 2011. Plus, we provide a great range of top US drama shows on FX/FX HD. As soon as we're able to confirm new launches, we'll let you know.

We have added a significant number of new HD channels and On Demand to our TV packs over the last year and we are continually looking at ways to offer our customers best value for money. Unlike Sky all of our non premium HD channels are included at no extra charge and we also give everyone access catch up for free.
