What are the Virgin Media ISP settings (cable broadband)?
This page provides the generic ISP settings for Virgin Broadband.
If you are unsure how to add/change these settings, you can follow the step by step guides in our help tutorials.
IP and DNS address settings
- Primary address: 194.168.4.100
- Secondary address: 194.168.8.100
- Your IP address will either be automatically assigned, or set to 0.0.0.0
DNS stands for Domain Name System, and is the technology that assigns names to IP addresses. DNS technology means you can type in www.virginmedia.com instead of having to remember a long winded IP address!
