What is Quickstart?
Quickstart is our self install option, which allows you to take our services without having to wait for an engineer to visit your home.
Can I get a Quickstart installation?
If your home is in our network area and it’s had Virgin Media services in the last 3 years, you can usually get a Quickstart pack to install our services yourself. If you’ve asked for either our broadband service, our TV service or both, you’ll need to check that you’ll want to install our kit for these services in roughly the same spot as before (ideally next to the socket), and you feel confident about installing the services yourself.
Just so you know, you can only get our phone service via Quickstart when ordered with TV or Broadband.

If you’ve already got services with us and want to add either TV or Broadband, or upgrade to TiVo, just call our team on 150 from your Virgin Media phone or mobile, or 0345 454 1111* from any other phone.

How long before my Quickstart pack arrives?
Your Quickstart pack will be delivered by our partner Yodel within three working days, or four working days if you live in Northern Ireland. When you place your order, you can choose where you’d like your pack to be delivered.
If you’ve ordered one of our TiVo or V HD set top boxes, it will need to be signed for by someone aged 18 or over. If the delivery can’t be made, your courier will leave a card to say they called and they’ll try to deliver it again on the next working day.
How can I track my order?
Once you’ve placed your order, our courier partners will send you a text message to let you know it’s on its way. You can track your Quickstart order by visiting myyodel.co.uk
What does the Quickstart pack contain?
What comes in your Quickstart pack depends on the Virgin Media services you order. But either way, it has everything you need to install your new services.
Who do I call to have my Quickstart installation activated?
Once you’ve got all the bits in the right place, you can call our activation line to activate your services on 0800 953 9500. They’re here to help Mon-Fri, 8am-10pm; Saturday, 8am-6pm; and Sunday 9am-5pm. Just to let you know, if it’s a bank holiday our opening hours may vary.
Can I get Quickstart with the TiVo® service?
Yes, of course, If you’re ordering TV for the first time, or want to upgrade an existing set top box to TiVo, then you’ll be able to do this via Quickstart.
