Wireless Networking
What is wireless broadband and why do I need it?
Wireless broadband means you can connect to the internet anywhere in your home – no wires needed!
A wireless router controls the connection to the internet and broadcasts a wireless signal that computers (and other devices) 'tune in' to, to go online.
Why do I need wireless broadband?
Wireless broadband gives you the freedom and convenience to get online anywhere in your home, without being tied down by wires and cables. Just set up your wireless router and away you go!
With a wireless router from Virgin Media you can connect up to 10 wireless-equipped computers or devices to your wireless network – so everyone in the house can get online at the same time. And the devices can be used anywhere within range of your wireless router.
