What do I need to watch HD TV?

There’s only three things you need:

  • An HD-ready TV
  • A digital set-top box (STB) capable of transmitting high definition programmes – like the V HD Box, the V+ HD Box or the TiVo box.
  • An HD connection lead – either an HDMI lead or DVI lead, depending on which TV you have. This connects your TV and set top box together, and delivers HD pictures to your screen.

If you have a V HD Box, V+ HD Box or a TiVo box, but a non-HD TV you can still watch some HD channels and programmes, but of course they won’t be in HD.

If you have a standard definition V Box, why not upgrade to get the best from your HD TV?
