Cable broadband modem package contents – what you get

Have you recieved a Virgin Media Hub from us? If so, check out our article What is the Virgin Media Hub? for details on what you should have received.

If you have received a modem, or modem and router from us, here's what to expect:

  • Cable modem – this will have been installed by your engineer, or you’ll have received it in your QuickStart self install pack.



  • Ethernet cable – this is the lead that connects your computer to your cable modem. If you are using a wireless router, it connects the wireless router to the modem.



  • Wireless kit (optional) – if you’ve chosen to go wireless, you’ll also have received a wireless router.
