How to change your home page on a Mac
The home page is the page that displays when you first open your web browser. You can have any web page as your home page, and you can change it at any time. Before you change your home page, you’ll need to know the full address (called the URL) of the page you want as your home page (for example, www.virginmedia.com).
Follow the steps below to change your Safari home page on a Mac: (If you use another web browser, just take a look at the Help section of your browser to find out how to do this.)
1. Click on the Safari icon in your desktop dock:
If you use another web browser, just take a look at the help section of your browser.
2. Click on the word Safari at the top left hand side of your screen, then from the menu that opens, select Preferences.
3. Delete the existing Home page, and type in the address of the home page you want to use, for example www.virginmedia.com
4. Click on OK.
Now, whenever you open Safari, or click on the Home icon, your browser will load the web page you have just chosen!
